An international law firm is hiring an AML & Conflicts Analyst to join their team in Belfast on a hybrid working basis. You will be joining a growing team, and so will be working closely with a Compliance Officer and have the opportunity to make a big impact on the firm.The function of this role is to assist with the onboarding of new clients and matters and consists of CDD and conflicts clearance.In order to apply for this role, you should have experience in conflicts and/or AML checks, and excellent research and communication skills.The responsibilities of this role will include:Conducting research on clients to meet CDD requirementsAdvising on CDD requirements for overseas officesCarrying out risk assessments at client inception, and keeping records when clients present a higher risk profileResearching adverse press and assessing its relevanceCarrying out searches for PEPsResearching sources of wealth and funds and advising fee earnersEscalating concerns to managementCarrying out conflicts searches and reporting back to the partner or fee earner with potential issuesAnswering queries around billing and file openingAssisting the MLRO with researching suspicious activity reportsConducting training on onboarding issuesInterested?
