Merrifield Consultants are delighted to be partnering Noahs Ark Childrens Hospice to find two Community Engagement Officers!Were looking for professional fundraisers with demonstrable experience in community fundraising or corporate partnerships, and experience managing a portfolio of community groups or securing successful long term partnerships.Basic Details:Job Title: Community Engagement Officer (x 2)Organisation: Noahs Ark Childrens HospiceLocation: Barnet, North London, Hybrid (3 days in the office)Contract: Full-time, PermanentSalary: 29,291 to 34,963Closing date: Please apply with your CV at your earliest convenience as applications will be reviewed on a rolling basisRequirements: Valid UK driving license.Responsibilities:Identify and develop external networks that will support and grow our funding capabilities.Lead outreach efforts to engage new local community partner.Successfully identify and secure community grants and funding from local appeals.Plan and deliver engaging stewardship events for key audiences.Maintain accurate records in our CRM (Beacon) to track communications, income, and supporter preferences, ensuring compliance with GDPR and data protection laws.Travel across our catchment area (North and Central London, and Hertsmere) to meet supporters and attend fundraisers, collections or events.Essentials:Demonstrable track record of meeting fundraising income targets, supporter acquisition and retention.Strong ability to network.Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to confidently manage a varied workload.A confident speaker with good presentation skills.Experience of how best to use a database to support excellent supporter experience.If you are ready to make a significant impact in the field of fundraising within a dynamic and collaborative environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Please apply today or contact Moses Thomas-Johnson at Merrifield Consultants if you have any questions, moses.johnson@merrifieldconsultants.co.uk.We practice a diverse and inclusive recruitment process that ensures equal opportunity for all we work with, irrespective of race, sexual orientation, mental or physical disability, age or gender.
