MCS Group are looking for a skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our clients team in Dungannon. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative R&D projects and contribute to the development of cutting-edge electrical systems.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and design accurate electrical schematics, drawings, and BOMs for components and systems.Create technical documentation, including work instructions, parts lists, and critical maintenance components.Provide mentor ship and technical guidance to the development team, identifying and implementing technical solutions.Research and develop new electrical products, considering customer requirements, manufacturing methods, and materials.Design and modify manufacturing and assembly processes to enhance efficiency and quality.Work on R&D projects to expand the product range and bring new innovations to market.Ensure product quality through rigorous electrical testing and validation methods.Maintain compliance with industry regulations and ISO 9001 Quality Management System.Support cross-functional teams by providing engineering expertise and problem-solving solutions.Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work space, following company health and safety policies.What We're Looking ForHND or equivalent in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or extensive relevant experience.Experience in a similar electrical design role.Proficiency in schematic and software programming design using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, EPLAN, or similar tools.Strong ability to read, create, and interpret complex electrical drawings.In-depth knowledge of electrical regulations and design standards.Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Experience in technical drafting and electrical standard compliance.What's in it for you?Competitive Salary (DOE)PensionHealth Cash PlanLife AssuranceDiscounted High Street dealsGym Membership and insuranceLong service awardsSocial EventsCycle to work and tech schemeOn-site parkingEarly Finish Fridays!To speak in absolute confidence about this opportunity please send an up to date CV via the link provided or contact Amy Wallace, Specialist Consultant at MCS Group 028 9049 0898Even if this position is not right for you, we may have others that are.
