Technical Commercial Manager (Agrochemicals) UK - part time 2 days per weekLocation - Remote UK wide with EU travelAbout the RoleWe are seeking a Technical Commercial Manager to join our clients team and play a pivotal role in expanding their presence in the UK agrochemicals market. Reporting directly to the Commercial Agro Manager (UK & Ireland), this role bridges the gap between R&D, sales, and key industry stakeholders, ensuring our innovative crop protection solutions gain traction in the UK market. Initially focusing on cereal fungicides, the role will expand to other segments over time.This will be a hands on role, travelling to set up trials across UK and Ireland, meeting farmers, dealers and industry advisors.This is a part-time position (2 days per week) for 1 year, with the potential to become permanent and full-time.Key Responsibilities:Drive Demand Creation Develop and implement strategies to enhance product adoption, working closely with farmers, dealers, and industry advisors.Technical Sales Support Provide expert technical support and sales materials to customers, ensuring confidence in our product range.Market & Competitor Analysis Identify market trends, competitor activities, and growth opportunities, supporting strategic decision-making.Stakeholder Engagement Build and maintain relationships with advisors, key growers, seed companies, and other industry influencers.Product Awareness & Training Conduct farmer meetings, retailer training sessions, on-farm support, and technical presentations.Data Collection & Feedback Provide insights on product performance, new opportunities, and customer needs to guide product development.Support Commercial Sales Strategy Work closely with the Commercial Manager and marketing team to align technical support with sales priorities.What You Need to Succeed:Bachelors degree or higher in Agriculture, Agronomy, Plant Pathology, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in agrochemical technical sales (Biorational & Biostimulant experience is an advantage).Strong understanding of plant physiology, crop protection, and soil health.Knowledge of Biorationals, Biostimulants, and Plant Growth Regulators (PGRs) is a plus.Proven ability to drive sales through technical expertise and relationship-building.Strong communication and presentation skills, with a track record in stakeholder engagement.Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.Good practical knowledge of IT tools and CRM systems.BASIS Certificate in Crop Protection is highly desirable.Valid UK driving license and ability to travel occasionally.If youre passionate about agriculture, innovation, and technical sales, and want to make an impact in the UKs crop protection sector, apply now!
