Were transforming performance and efficiency for customers across the globe, giving them the vital edge in their markets.We are currently seeking a Senior Solution Designer based in Redditch with remote working available (can be based out of anywhere in the UK).Key Tasks:Participation in solution-finding process at local/European levelTechnical feasibility (Go-No Go or change of solution)Able to analyze complex customers business data and processesWork with customers and internal stakeholders to develop the appropriate intralogistics concepts and solution for medium to complex projectsCreate material flow diagrams, evaluate the proper technology to be used and dimension the subsystemsPrepare solution layout through 3D tools / CADPrepare budget costing based on standard budget tools for medium project complexityEvaluate alternatives and prepare ROI and Business case evaluationPrepare solution design documentation, offer and contract in collaboration with the Sales Project ManagerAct as a leader in front of the customer in terms of solution and technical aspectsYour Background:Design & Technical background in the intralogistics / material handling market (min 3-5 years)Customer & Business understanding in material handling marketData analysis, sharing results with the customerDevelop technical solution, 2D and 3D drawing preparationData Analysis tools (PowerBI, SQL, etc..)Revit knowledge is desirable but not essentialOur promise to youSwisslog is a world of opportunity for people who can deliver a game changing mission: driving the future of intralogistics, by shaping an era of robotic and data-driven automated solutions that create exceptional customer value.Join us on this journey and youll be part of a global enterprise thats proud of its Swiss roots - and hugely excited by the worldwide opportunities open to everyone in the Swisslog family.
