Rushlift provides impartial advice to enable customers to maximise the effectiveness of their industrial equipment fleets, through either long-term hire contracts or servicing and repair arrangements.In addition to providing all types of forklift trucks, from powered pallet trucks to wire-guided systems, Rushlift hires and maintains a wide range of industrial equipment such as sweepers, mobile plants, and lorry loader cranes.About the role:The role of Head of Assets & STR is to ensure we have a fluid, well balanced & profitable rental fleet. Short term rental provides an important revenue stream and route to market for potential asset sales. The effectiveness in conducting this role plays an important part in the rental fleet utilisation. Your key responsibilities will include:Ensuring the Company obtains maximum revenue contribution from all Trade Sales orders.Growing the short term rental revenue contribution.Managing profitability through effective workshop controls on costs.Management of the admin and staff and two short term rental workshops.Achieve a level of new business in your business area compatible with the annual business plan.Identification of end of term units suitable for refurbishment to assist growth of the Rushlift refurbishment business.Optimization of fleet efficiency through identification of unprofitable units taking appropriate action to rectify.To analyse & value equipment coming back from hire and decide on net route for equipment ( Trade / STR / Refurb etc. )Assist the Sales Department on support Equipment for new sales.Running and analysing inventories of all assets.Liaising with suppliers to obtain the best price for assets.What we are looking for:Experience within the MHE industryThorough understanding of the trade channel and used MHE marketInnovative approach to marketing and new customer penetrationAbility to understand market trends in relation to pricing and demandSales & Sales Management experienceA good knowledge of IT is essential.Good communication skills are essential.What we offer:Competitive Salary PackageContributory Pension SchemeEnhanced Parental PoliciesLife AssuranceOn-site parkingEmployee Welfare Scheme Vouchers for birthdays/weddings/children/studies/long service etcEmployee Assistance Programme giving you access to Retail/Health/Gym discounts, confidential counselling and advice, Cycle2Work Scheme, and much moreWhat Happens Next?Once you have completed your application, our People Team will initially consider your skills and experience based on your CV and application.
