This is an exciting opportunity to work on full life-cycle development, from design to commissioning, in a dynamic and innovative environment.The Role:As an EC&I Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing electrical, control, and instrumentation (ECI) systems for complex industrial applications. You will work on automation, control systems, and industrial instrumentation, ensuring seamless integration and functionality in challenging environments. The role requires periodic flexibility for travel within the UK and Europe.Key Responsibilities:Full life-cycle development of industrial control and automation systems, from design to commissioning.Development and integration of PLC-based control systems (Siemens/Omron experience beneficial).Hands-on control system integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting.Selection, implementation, and commissioning of instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow, level) in high-temperature and high-fouling environments.Working with SCADA, HMI, and industrial networking for seamless system operation.Designing and reviewing electrical schematics, process control diagrams, and safety protocols.Applying knowledge of functional safety standards and hazardous area classifications.Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.Requirements:Relevant engineering degree or equivalent technical experience.Significant hands-on experience in industrial plant automation or special-purpose machinery.Experience in designing, programming, and commissioning PLC/SCADA/HMI systems.Knowledge of functional safety and hazardous area classifications is highly desirable.Willingness to travel to project sites in the UK and across Europe as required.Please note that full and permanent right to work in the UK is a non-negotiable requirement for this role.
