Venn Groups specialist legal team are currently working with a reputable Local Authority who are recruiting for a Locum Adult Social Care Lawyer/ Court of Protection (COP) Lawyer to join their department. This opportunity can consider both full time and part time candidates and is offering around 3-6 months rolling contract. It can be worked on a remote basis with IT collection and induction on the first day. The Local Authority is offering a highly competitive rate of up to 65 per hour depending on experience level.You must be a Solicitor or Barrister with previous experience dealing with Adult Social Care matters.Working Requirements/Duties:Undertake all aspects of legal work relating to Adult Social Care Legislation, including, but not limited to, Court of Protection, Section 21a, Section 16 and Designation mattersUnderstand the legal framework and case law relating to, Adult Social Care and HealthProvide legal advice to Local Authority clients in one or more of the areas above on complex mattersDevise Consent orders and 21 As mainly using CVP and TeamsAttend the office on the first day to complete an induction, meet the team and collect IT equipmentCandidates ideally should be confident with time recording and case management systems but also in conducting their own advocacyPlease contact Timothea Nash or Connie Ross for a confidential conversation.07441 916435 tnash@venngroup.comcross@venngroup.com
