A live in pro-active, organised and capable Housekeeper is required for a beautiful family home near Cirencester/Cheltenham. This is the families permanent residence. This is a Monday to Friday role, hours of 7am-7pm (with a break during the day). Accommodation provided on site (separate from the main house) which is suitable for a single person only - no pets, children or partners please. It is essential you are eligible and legal to work in the UK before applying.Driver not essential.The family consists of 6 people - 2 adults and 4 young children under 8 years, so it is busy, noisy home with lots of organisation required!Duties will include, but not limited to:-Full housekeepingWashing and ironingTidying all around the house, ensuring it is in continuous good orderDeep cleans of rooms/kitchen equipment/bathrooms etc. when time allowsWardrobe managementClearing up after mealsOccasional light cooking for children may be required if the housekeeper feels capable of thisOrganising and tidying cupboards/toysStripping beds and re makingEnsuring all the house is clean and organised at all times - the parents are very clean, tidy people, and it is essential that the housekeeper is of the same mindset!The housekeeper must be child friendly and happy to 'oversee' on occasions if the parent needs to leave the room - although this is not a nanny roleOrdering new household supplies/stockFull household organising and cleaning 4 bed 3 bath house with outbuildingsSomeone pro-active, kind and able to use initiative is essentialDriver is not essential, but the willingness to be flexible in the role is important, and the housekeeper must be aware that this is a family home and will be a busy home.This will be a super opportunity for a long term career position, with a lovely family. Previous experience working with a family in their home is important, and references are essential.
