I am currently seeking a Contract / Perm Civils Project Manager for work on Marine Civils Projects. Initially working around London with future projects covering London & home counties.This will initially be a Temp role with the opportunity to go permThis role would include but not be limited to the belowOversee delivery of the project until completion, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, job costing, and quality controlCollaborate with engineers, designers, subcontractors to ensure that all project requirements are met, and that projects are delivered on time and within budgetEnsure works are installed within tolerance and all QA is signed off as required by Client.Manage any defect works to spec, on time and within budgetConduct weekly project status meeting with the Client to ensure that all stakeholders are informed of project progress, issues, and risksCommunicate regularly with the Client and other third parties to provide updates on project progress and resolve any issues that may ariseEnsure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations and policiesEnsuring H&S policy is followed at all timesEnsure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and company policiesScope of works will includeMarine and landside tubular piling using 350T crawler craneNew sheet pile river wall to be installed using leader rigMobilisation of 400T crane on barge for demolition and marine pilingDredging of a new berth using the GPS Boxer with long reach excavator and hoppersFendering and quay furnitureUXO survey and clearanceThe Ideal Candidate will havePrevious experience as a Project Manager, Construction Manager, Agent or similarSolid commercial acumen with experience of NEC contractsExperience producing and managing programmes using Microsoft Project or similar.CSCS, SMSTS, 2x ReferencesRelevant experience within CivilsDegree within Engineering, Construction or similarIf you are keen apply now or for more information, please contact Sam Jaffe at CavendishCavendish (Recruitment) Professionals Ltd are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and we believe that inclusivity begins with the candidate experience.
