Sellick Partnership is currently supporting a Wiltshire-based client in the recruitment of an interim Head of Technical ServicesAssets.Reporting directly to the Director of Housing and Homelessness, you will take the lead for a professional team of asset management and client surveyors. You will provide professional leadership and technical support for housing repairs, capital investment, and asset management services.Rate: 500 - 550 per dayAbout the Head of Technical Services Assets role:Ensuring the housing property assets are well maintained and that planned works and capital investment are delivered in accordance with the client priorities as defined by the Asset Management Plan.Meeting the specified KPI targets as set out in the Client Housing Technical Service Annual Plan as agreed with OperationsSupport the organisation to be in a state of readiness for any planned inspections by the Housing RegulatorEnsure that the Operations contractor is operating in accordance with the appropriate Housing Consumer Standards.Collaborate effectively with the Director of Housing and Homelessness, providing necessary and timely housing technical advice and positively contributing to the overall strategic management of the Housing serviceRequirements for the Head of Technical Services - Assets role:Previous experience in a Senior Head of Service role within a housing organisation, preferably within a Local Authority environmentExperience with the HRA financial regime and be able to effectively work with the Director of Finance to create a viable medium and long term HRA business planProfessional qualified Chartered Surveyor / RICSKnowledge and understanding of HRA finance, including central government funding regimes, local government innovation and private investment opportunities, and experience.If you have relevant experience or are currently working as a Head of Technical ServicesAssets and would like a confidential chat, please apply or contact Claire Harrison at Sellick Partnership, Derby office.
