Job Description

Im currently collaborating with a company at the forefront of clinical research and diagnostics, and theyre looking for a Clinical Affairs Analyst to join their team.This is an exciting opportunity to play an integral role in the design, execution, and reporting of clinical trials, ensuring that products are safe, effective, and globally available. Youll be working contributing to various tasks that ensure the smooth management and execution of trials and submissions, with the added responsibility of managing two direct reports.What youll be doing:Participating in the design and reporting of clinical trials, either directly or via Contract Research Organisations (CROs)Executing trial protocols and ensuring their timely completionCollating trial data using in-house or external specimens (e.g., haematological specimens)Processing and accurately recording biological samples and cell linesConducting laboratory activities such as biological sample culturing, FISH setup, analysis, and troubleshootingAssisting with study monitoring and coordinating with external clinical sites to provide required clinical dataContributing to the overall analytical and practical workload What were looking for:A background in a science-related field (MSc or equivalent preferred)Experience working in a laboratory setting (critical for this role)Proven experience in clinical trial design and operational insightsStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical laboratory issuesFamiliarity with GLP environments and exceptional attention to detailStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage workloads under tight deadlinesWillingness to travel (10% of the time) to visit clinical labs internationally and within the UKKnowledge of cytogenetic processing methods and FISH analysis is desirableIn return, youll receive:Competitive salary10% non-contributory pension schemeGroup income protection & life assurancePro-rata 25 days holiday plus UK bank holidaysHigh street discount schemeIf youre looking for a hands-on, lab-based role where you can make a real impact in genetics research, this is an excellent opportunity to advance your career.If youre interested or would like to learn more, feel free to reach out!
