Clinical Referrals Manager Neurorehabilitation Specialist Care Centers Non-Invasive Ventilation & Tracheostomy Care Hybrid Role | Remote Work with Travel Across South & Central London and Kent Salary: 55,000 Share in Group Bonus Scheme Valid NMC Registration Required Overview At Compass Associates, were proud to be partnering with one of the UKs leading providers of specialist neurorehabilitation care, supporting patients requiring non-invasive ventilation and tracheostomy care across a network of dedicated centres in South London. Together, were recruiting a motivated nurse with a valid NMC registration to join the team as their new Clinical Referrals Manager. As the Clinical Referrals Manager, you will transition from a schedule of mixed days, nights, and long shifts on the floor to a more flexible hybrid working arrangement. This will allow you to work remotely from home while travelling across regions such as South, North, and Central London, as well as Kent, for key responsibilities. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing new patients referred through various channels, including hospitals such as Kings College London and UCLH. However, alongside conducting assessments, you will also be responsible for managing the referral process. This will involve attending the groups care centres in South London, where you will meet the families of prospective new service users, provide them with a tour of the service, and address any questions they may have regarding the level of care they can expect to receive. In your role, you will manage the pathway for new referrals, starting from promoting the service to ICBSs, Local Authorities, and Commissioners, to negotiating fees. You will also ensure that the families of prospective service users are fully informed about the service provided. You will also balance your clinical knowledge to ensure that patients entering the service are properly assessed, and that the appropriate level of care is provided. Given the expectations of the role, you will be required to hold a valid NMC registration and have prior experience conducting patient assessments. Additionally, you should have a strong commercial understanding, with experience working with ICBs, Commissioners, or Local Authorities. Essential Criteria Hold a valid and clear NMC registration as a Nurse. Experience in conducting patient assessment An understanding of complex care is desirable; however, experience in a similar service is not essential. Backgrounds in areas such as ICU and HDU will also be considered. Commercial awareness and experience working with ICBs, Commissioners, and Local Authorities. Hold a valid UK driving license and have access to your own vehicle Located close to South London Clear DBS Right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship cannot be offered or transferred. Location This is a hybrid role that involves regional travel, but you must be based locally or within a commutable distance from the group''s services and referral base. Ideally, you would be located in or around South London or Surrey. Salary Offering a highly competitive salary of circa 55,000, with potential flexibility for the right candidate and experience. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to earn a bonus based on a share of the group''s EBITDA.
