We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to lead a team of electrical engineers within our Central Engineering function. As a subject matter expert, you will be responsible for overseeing all electrical systems within your region, ensuring the highest levels of safety, efficiency, and reliability. Acting as a key interface between Data Centre Operations, Design teams, OEMs, and customers, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our mission-critical infrastructure. What You Will Do: Lead the Electrical Engineering function across the UK and Western Europe (UK, Netherlands, Spain, France). Manage, develop, and expand a team of electrical engineers, ensuring high-quality delivery. Oversee stakeholder management, providing regular updates to internal and external teams. Conduct root-cause analysis and implement lessons learned to drive continuous improvement. Develop and implement electrical safety rules , ensuring compliance and harmonisation across operations. Act as a senior escalation point for electrical and control issues. Lead the development of SOPs, EOPs, and MOPs , ensuring best practices in electrical operations. Serve as a strategic partner for Design teams, OEMs, and external consultants, bringing deep technical expertise to mission-critical projects. What We Are Looking For: Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Proven leadership experience , managing electrical engineers in a mission-critical environment. Expertise in HV/LV systems, UPS, standby power, BMS/EMS, and control systems within Data Centres or similar sectors. Experience as a High Voltage Authorising Engineer (HV AE) . Strong technical knowledge of short circuits, discrimination, and arc flash studies . Demonstrated ability to optimise electrical systems for efficiency and reliability . Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills . Track record of training development and technical mentoring. Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working towards it. Fluency in English; and additional European languages (Dutch, Spanish, French, German) are a plus. Willingness to travel up to 25% across the region. Why Join Us?
