Base Location: Tameside One, Market Place, Ashton-Under-Lyne, OL6 6BH Interview Date: To be arranged The RoleWe are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Early Help Adviser to support, promote and identify Level 2 Early Help Support within the Tameside area. The EH Adviser will ensure support is offered at the earliest opportunity by working closely with a range of professionals and offering support, advice and guidance at Level 2. The Early Help Adviser will work closely with the MASH (Multi Agency Safeguarding HUB), Schools, Health, Nurseries, and many other professionals who lead and complete Early Help Assessments (EHA). The Early Help Adviser will support professionals to ensure that all families receive support, advice and guidance at the earliest opportunity to prevent any further escalation of risk. This role includes working in partnership with other services to effect change and improve outcomes for Children, Young People, and Families. You will be expected to take a lead role in communicating with Children, Young People, Families, and partners to identify appropriate services within Early Help and to identify risks that require a Social Care response. About YouCandidates must have excellent communication skills. This role is office-based with visits to settings/meetings where required. You must be able to develop and maintain strong relationships with partner agencies and services and have a strong knowledge of Early Help Assessments. The Early Help Advisers work with Children, Young People, and Families 0-19yrs, schools, family hubs, health partners, voluntary organisations, and other key agencies in developing sustainable changes for families.
