SF are currently working exclusively with a business based in Matlock who have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant with the opportunity to progress to a Financial Controller. This is a brilliant opportunity for an Assistant who is looking to progress further with hands on support and study support.Salary up to £33,000 Study support Full office based 25 Holidays + Bank HolidaysJob duties: - Working closely with the Financial Controller supporting with preparing the Monthly Management Accounts - Month - End Duties: Bank & Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Month - End Journals (Accruals & Prepayments), Fixed Asset Register - Analysing financial performance and contributing to business planning and forecasting - P&L Analysis - Assist with preparing Budgets and Forecasts - Assist with preparing Cashflow Forecasts - Assisting in the development and maintenance of financial policies and management information systems. - Preparing periodic financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flow reports and variance analysis. - Analysing financial performance and contributing to business planning and forecasting.The ideal candidate will have the following: Experience in Month - End duties (Bank/Balance Sheet/Month - End Journals/Fixed Asset Register Studying AAT or Equivalent and looking to study further Ambitious Team player Good Excel skills Good attention to detail...
