Working as the Yard Assistant / LGV Driver you will primarily be working outside, assisting customers, picking products and loading them onto the lorries and van for deliveries. As the Yard Assistant / LGV Driver you will also be required to unload supplier lorries and move product to their locations in the yard. As part of this role, you will also be the branch’s relief LGV Driver, providing cover when the regular drivers are absent from the branch. As a successful candidate you will be the friendly face of the business, offering customers great service whilst ensuring they are served and loaded, that their requirements are met and that they are well supported.
