The role in 60 secondsRole:Contentious Construction Associate Team:Energy, Projects, Infrastructure & Construction (EPIC) Locations:Bristol, Exeter, Plymouth, Manchester or Southampton Working Pattern:Full-time Why this role matters:This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge cases in the renewable energy sector, as well as high-profile disputes involving commercial, residential and infrastructure projects.What you'll do:Be a part of our Contentious Construction team, who are featured in the inaugural Legal 500 Green Guide UK, working on a range of construction and engineering disputes. Cover all aspects of risk management, strategic advice and dispute resolution, including adjudication, litigation and other forms of ADR. Work closely with national and international clients on major disputes and dispute avoidance strategies. Engage with emerging issues and disputes in the rapidly evolving landscape of utility-scale battery storage and solar farm projects, including financing issues, catastrophic failure as well as delay and availability problems. What we're looking for:2+ years PQE in a contentious construction or dispute resolution team. A proven ability to build strong client relationships and expand your network within the industry. Able to demonstrate an interest in one of our key sectors, such as Energy & Infrastructure or Retail & Consumer. A shared passion for innovation and collaboration - achieving great things together.
