This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with astrong technical mindset and a passion for innovationto contribute to the development of cutting-edge engineering solutions. About the role Reporting to theDesign Manager , you will play a key role in supporting thedesign and development of new productsin line with the company’s business plans. This role is ideal for someone witha practical approach to engineering , aneye for detail , and asolid understanding of the design process . What you will be doing Assisting in thedevelopment of new products , ensuring they align with business objectives. Creating3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings . Producingproject documentation , including datasheets, catalogues, and customer CAD models. Undertakingtesting of components and assemblies , gathering and analysing results. Maintainingexisting product design records and drawings . Supporting theproduction and optimisation of 3D-printed components . Assisting withrendered images and animationsfor projects. What we are looking for A solidunderstanding of physics and mathematics . Practical engineering skillsand hands-on experience. Familiarity with thedesign processand principles ofDesign for Manufacture (DFM) . Proficiency inSolidWorks(or similar 3D CAD software), as well asMicrosoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint .
