Cleaner In Charge Job Start Date: ASAP Contact Term: Permanent Salary: NJC Scale 3 Point 5-6, £12,263.51 - £12,406.38 per annum Working Hours:2.30pm – 6.30pm, 5 days per week, Total 20 hours per week, 39 weeks a year plus occasional holiday work to be agreed. We are looking for a Cleaner In Charge to manage our school cleaning team and carry out cleaning duties to ensure all areas of the school are cleaned to a high level. The role is for 20 hours per week term time only including TED days. You will also be required to work during the holiday period for a limited time, depending upon the scheduled deep cleaning work being carried out. Salary Level is Scale Point 3. Responsibilities: Provide a clean and pleasant environment to facilitate the effective use of the school for staff and pupils. Line manage the cleaning team. Ensure Health and Safety compliance as well as meet legal regulations and approved codes of practice. Lock the school at the end of the school day. Closing Date:12 noon on Wednesday 26 March 2025.
