Requisition ID: 9305 ABOUT YOUYou will ensure the timely production, testing, and release of syrups to Manufacturing to meet site operational plans and maintain OEE performance. You will report directly to the Blends Team Leader within the LRS Blends Facility at Coleford, supporting the Manufacturing, Quality, Technical, and Blends operations team. You will be responsible for maximizing the performance of the Blends Facility in relation to Safety, Quality, and Delivery. You will be skilled and knowledgeable enough to operate every aspect of the Blends facility, enabling a truly flexible workforce. During periods of downtime (Planned Maintenance & Breakdowns), you will provide value-adding support to the Technical Operator and Engineering team with their routine and/or breakdown tasks. ABOUT THE ROLEIn this role, you will drive the health and safety culture to create a healthy and risk-free working environment by complying with all workplace health 'safety regulations, conducting yourself safely, and performing daily safety audits of your area of responsibility. You will contribute to achieving World Class Manufacturing quality by adhering to quality system compliance, escalating any issues that might compromise product safety and quality, and carrying out online quality spot checks. You will also ensure the efficient manufacture, testing, and release of syrups to packaging while maintaining GMP standards. This includes offloading and storing raw materials, handling blackcurrant concentrate, manufacturing stock solutions, monitoring manufacturing plans, performing cleaning tasks, addressing batch make-up issues, undertaking sampling and analytical testing, maintaining records, and ensuring GMP standards are upheld throughout the Blends areas. Additionally, you will take immediate action and escalate any findings that pose a potential or imminent threat to food safety, GMP, or quality standards. WHAT I NEED TO BE SUCCESSFULYou should ideally have a degree or equivalent in biological sciences, chemistry, food science, microbiology, or a related scientific discipline. Alternatively, you should have at least 5 years of practical experience in a manufacturing environment working with food or beverage products.
