Birmingham Zoo Inc.Seasonal Animal Care Professional, BirdsThe Birmingham Zoo is currently seeking applications for a seasonal Animal Care Professional in the Bird Department. This seasonal position is responsible for the primary daily husbandry activities and welfare of the Lorikeets and Lorikeet Aviary. Activities in this position will assist in presenting to the public an environment that is educational, entertaining, and serves to further the mission of the Birmingham Zoo. Ensures a positive experience when Zoo Guests are feeding Lorikeets in Aviary. Responsibilities: Daily husbandry activities for Lorikeets and Lorikeet Aviary. Ensure the welfare of the birds. Engage with the public and enhance their experience. Minimum Requirements: Passion for animal care and welfare. Ability to work in a seasonal capacity. Strong communication skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
