This key role is to operate the ERP System, Dynamics AX, to generate dependent demand for the work centres in the Company, to generate line schedules with measurable adherence to plan, to monitor and highlight capacity at line level and liaise with customers on availability. The successful applicant will lead by example and ensure that you and your team are adhering to company policies and procedures in relation to Product Quality, Food Safety and Integrity. Focusing on continuous improvement within the planning function, employing planning strategies that best suit the needs of the business, creating value and eliminating waste. Key ResponsibilitiesPlan efficient production schedules on a daily basis Develop a daily and weekly production plan for all products which will meet customer requirements and stock level targets Create an hourly / daily / weekly production schedule for all products. Develop a production schedule to optimize labour utilization & minimize the impact of changeovers whilst not impacting on Service Level. Take responsibility for the creation and communication of factory production plans. Ensure that all products are scheduled allowing ample time for dispatch & in accordance to specific out load times. Forecast and maintain files for all stock items. Liaise with customers on availability, e.g. shortages or excess stock on hand Adhere to Company general policies, i.e., Food Safety, Health Safety, Absence, etc. Support the planning manager to develop the planning team High level of communication Ability to develop and build cross functional internal relationships Able to work on own initiative and make reasonable decisions that do not negatively impact the business. Undertake other appropriate duties as deemed necessary within the scope of the role Minimum RequirementsThird level education Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role Experience in a fast-paced environment Analytical and problem-solving abilities Experience in the use of bespoke ERP planning systems Recognised Supply Chain Qualification Minimum 1 years’ experience as a Senior Planner in food manufacturing / FMC Lean manufacturing experience Organisational and time-management skills Proficient in use of Dynamics AX Take the initiative and deputise for the Planning Manager as required Seniority levelMid-Senior level Employment typeFull-time Job functionManagement and Manufacturing Industries Food and Beverage Manufacturing#J-18808-Ljbffr
