We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Mobile Maintenance Assistant to join our Facilities Management Team. What you’ll be doing:Our Mobile Maintenance Assistant is responsible for carrying out minor general/fabric maintenance and business support tasks, as well as PPMs and general reactive tasks across a number of stores. Reporting to the Multi-Site Technician, suitable training will be provided to achieve competency and the ability to complete the following tasks (not an inclusive list): Weekly & monthly planned maintenance tasks as scheduled (fire alarm call point tests, water temperature checks, shower spray head clean and chlorination, etc.). Carry out weekly store defrost programme. Minor building fabric repairs. Minor plumbing tasks/repairs. Minor joinery tasks/repairs. Minor general ad-hoc tasks. All completed within our Health, Safety & Environmental policies. Positive and proactive approach, possessing good customer service skills and able to work in a fast-paced retail environment (as your role will be working during store opening hours). IT skills would also be beneficial (knowing how to use a tablet and basic software like Word, Excel, emails, etc.) as well as good communication skills. Must hold a full UK driver's license for roles covering 3+ stores. Be physically fit (as the role includes moving and lifting heavy items and using ladders).
