Tax Senior 40,000 - 45,000 (pro rata) Southampton We're working with a respected independent accountancy practice in Southampton to help them find a part-time Tax Senior. About the role: As a Tax Senior, youll take ownership of a varied portfolio of clientsoffering tailored tax advice and ensuring compliance is spot on. Youll also review the work of junior team members, answer client queries with confidence, and keep up to date with changes in legislation that might affect the clients you support. This role is hands-on, but not overwhelming. Youll be trusted to get on with things, with support available when you need it. Working hours: Part-Time Very flexible Hours and Days Key duties: Hosting client meetings to discuss (mainly) personal tax, (and sometimes) VAT and corporation tax Managing client queries via email, video call or in-person meeting, depending on client preferences Liaising with our bookkeeper & accountant Proactively spotting issues & offering tax planning advice Supporting other team members with queries Writing tax related content for our website Reviewing personal tax returns Key requirements: Previous experience in a similar tax-focused role within practice Solid knowledge of UK tax legislation, including personal and corporate tax Strong communication skills written and verbal Ideally ATT/CTA/ACA/ACCA Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team A genuine interest in helping clients navigate the world of tax with confidence TPBN1_UKTJ
