Generous Occupational Pension Scheme (Local Government Pension Scheme) About the role Reporting to and deputising for the Head of Additional Learning Support, you will leading a team responsible for enhancing the accessibility and inclusivity of teaching, learning and assessment at York College. You will play a critical role in developing a high standard of service delivery to students, so that they are successful and can proceed to the next stage of their development. About the Person You will have a strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and its application within the post-16 education sector. You will also possess significant experience in working within an educational environment, preferably at the further education level, supporting students with learning difficulties and disabilities.With a proven track record in leading and managing a team, and providing guidance, training, and support to staff, you will be adept at implementing inclusive practices and interventions that improve student outcomes. Experience in contributing toward the enhancement of support practices across education provisions is essential.
