A Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (essential). Experience of working in an early years setting, particularly with 35 year olds. A genuine love for working with young children and supporting their development. A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach, with a good sense of humour. A clear understanding of the EYFS framework and child development. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: Support childrens learning and development through purposeful play, exploration, and adult-led activities. Encourage social skills, independence, and confidence in young learners. Help to establish clear routines that create a calm and supportive environment. Plan and deliver activities that promote the EYFS curriculum, in collaboration with the nursery lead. Observe, record, and contribute to the assessment of children's progress.
