Job title: Regional Maintenance & Compliance Officer Salary: 24,500 to 27,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Hours: Full Time 37 hours per week Location: Sites across the North East & Cumbria Groundwork NE & Cumbria is seeking a dedicated and proactive Regional Maintenance & Compliance Officer to join our team. About the Role As our Regional Maintenance Officer, youll be at the heart of this charity's operations, playing a key role in maintaining the buildings and sites across the North East and Cumbria. Reporting to our Facilities & Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance, responding to repair needs, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities Conduct regular maintenance and upkeep jobs across our all our premises. Carry out minor emergency repairs Perform site legal compliance checks, e.g. emergency light checks, fire alarm tests, legionella Liaising with contractors and facilitating specialist contractor works Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities, inspections and compliance checks. What were looking for Proven experience in diagnosing and carrying out general maintenance repairs Familiarity with health and safety compliance in a facilities management setting A proactive hands-on approach to site maintenance ensuring a safe and welcoming environment Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities with a customer focussed mindset.
