You will be instrumental in nurturing students love for Science and guiding them to achieve their full academic potential.You will be working in a medium sized academy with an understanding and supportive senior management team. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging math lessons tailored to the needs of Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students . Differentiate lessons to cater to students diverse learning needs, ensuring inclusivity and fostering success at all levels . Assess students understanding and progress, providing timely feedback to help them improve and excel in their studies . Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills through engaging activities, games, and real-world applications . Collaborate with your colleagues in the math department to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources . Support students overall development by fostering a growth mindset and building confidence in their mathematical abilities . Ensure a safe, positive, and productive learning environment where students feel motivated and engaged . Participate in school-wide initiatives and meetings to contribute to the development of the curriculum and school policies . We are looking for: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification in teaching. This role could be suitable for a teacher of any level of experience including ECT who is very reflective, passionate about learning, and who wants to be the best they can be. Strong understanding of the national curriculum and the ability to create stimulating lesson plans that cater to a range of abilities Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents . Passion for Math and a commitment to helping students develop a love for the subject . Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a focused and respectful environment .
