Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Rossendale: Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a Level 3 qualified teaching assistant to join a vibrant school near to Rossendale. This is a full time position to start after Easter. The Role: Supporting pupils 1-1 and in small groups Maintaining regular communication with the class teacher to monitor progress and EHCPs Building rapport with pupils, parents and staff Communicating with external agencies Position Details: Position: Level 3 TA Location: Rossendale Type of Work: Temporary Full time/Part time: Full time only Minimum Rate of Pay: 110 per day, depending on experience Hours: 8:30am-4pm, Mon-Fri, Term Time only Start date: ASAP End date: Ongoing Experience, Training & Qualifications: Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided) Level 3 TA qualification is essential Previous experience supporting children with complex needs and PMLD is essential Team Teach training is highly desired ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years OTHER: If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
