Electrical Estimator About the Company: The company are a highly successful and well-respected Electrical Building Services contractor based near High Wycombe. With a strong presence in the commercial and office fit-out sectors, they provide comprehensive electrical solutions from design through to installation and commissioning. Project values typically range from 20k to 2m, and due to continued business growth, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their expanding team. The Role: As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing competitive, accurate estimates for a variety of electrical building services projects. Youll play a key role in the pre-construction process, working closely with the wider team to ensure bids are cost-effective, aligned with client expectations, and reflective of the companys high standards. Key Responsibilities: Tender electrical projects from 20k to 2m in value Analyse project drawings, specifications, and related documentation Identify scope, materials, and labour requirements Evaluate risks and explore cost-saving or value-engineering opportunities Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and the pre-construction team Source and assess supplier and subcontractor quotes to ensure competitive pricing Maintain an accurate cost database and utilise historical project data Contribute to the preparation of detailed bid proposals and presentations Electrical Estimator - Desired Skills & Experience: Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator within the Electrical Building Services sector Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and installation practices Familiarity with relevant estimation software and Microsoft Excel Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness Good communication and negotiation skills Relevant electrical qualifications Design experience is beneficial but not essential Whats on Offer: Competitive base salary: 60,000 80,000 depending on experience Annual performance bonus Private healthcare Pension scheme options Company events and team-building activities Company laptop and mobile phone Training and development support Genuine career progression within a growing and respected business Friendly, supportive, and rewarding working environment How to Apply: If you're an experienced Electrical Estimator looking for a new opportunity with a company that values your expertise and supports your professional growth, wed love to hear from you.
