This position is a permanent opportunity As Procurement Analyst , you will be expected to: Review and analyse Supply Chain data to ensure all key information is up to date and accurate. Analyse external spend through spend analysis reports to drive efficiencies and continues compliance to the Procurement Strategy and relevant policies. Review and compare actual spend against contract value providing outcomes, justification and improvements. Provide detail and recommendations based on data to reduce external expenditure. Identify areas to drive savings and efficiencies focusing of spend and data with the Procurement Team. Analyse Procurement card expenditure providing recommendation with targets to reduce spend with key stakeholders. Review contracts and procurement card expenditure to ensure compliance and reduced waste i.e. stationary and PPE approved catalogues. Identify patterns and trends across spend analysis and datasets. Develop and Monitor Power BI reports to provide greater transparency of spend and supply chain data. Review and anlalyse contract supplier register databases, identifying and updating gaps and drive improvements. Analyse contract spend throughout the delivery of large value contracts under Procurement Act 2023. Collate data and analyse supplier performance and the key trends based on value and risk. Compare and review workstream datasets to support value for money and added value attributes. Actively drive change as and when required to improve efficiencies, value for money and savings. Assist in analysing potential supplier proposal. Continue to support the proactive culture of value for money and procurement importance/ compliance. Support the delivery and targets of the service delivery plans set out by the Procurement team across the group. Work individually as well as a team and to specific timescales. Work cross-functional with other Group members to achieve agreed goals. Commit to equality and diversity and to promote non-discriminatory practices in all aspects of work undertaken. To be successful in a Procurement Analyst role, the skills you will need : Experience of effective communication with people at all levels through a variety of levels. Experience of working with Microsoft packages especially excel. Experience of working within a team environment and establishing relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a focus on high quality customer service. Ability to build strong relationships, particularly with suppliers and key stakeholders. Ambition and a genuine desire to learn and develop within the role. The ability to work to deadlines and to deal with inconsistent volumes of work and queries. Flexible can do attitude and a willingness to gain experience within the procurement field. Ability to adapt quickly to bespoke procurement software packages & train other members of staff and internal stakeholders. Ability work on own initiative requiring minimum supervision. Be trustworthy and able to manage their own time and tasks accordingly. The Ability to deal with work of a confidential nature. Strong organizational skills with the ability to concentrate on detail and quality of work, prioritizing and ensuring that deadlines are met. To undertake other tasks as and when required. Ability to extract, manipulate and analyse complex Data Sets. Current Driving License and access to a vehicle. Excellent communication skills, able to communicate across multiple channels including Microsoft Teams, Face to Face and Email.
