HGV TechnicianDays – Mon – Fri£42-45KTeesside - Middlesbrough Jackson Hogg is retained in their search for multiple HGV Technicians to manage a large Fleet Maintenance operation for their Teesside based operation. You will be responsible for servicing, repair and diagnosing faults on a range of electrical and mechanical vehicles ranging from light and small vans, forklifts, and larger trucks and HGVs. Main duties:Servicing, repairing and diagnosing a range of electrical and mechanical systems on vehiclesCompetently and safely working on electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systemsFollow company methods for ordering parts and manufactures warranty claim procedures.Knowledge of vehicle MOT and Fault Diagnostics process and Procedures Follow all Health and Safety procedures and standards.Working independently or part of a team. To be successful, you will: Have experience in a similar background i.e. mechanic, vehicle repair, forklift, plant fitter, mechanic, access engineer, fitters, REME, etc. Will need to possess multi-skill, knowledge and safe working practises with environmental awareness. Work well with others or independently. Have a full UK driving licence – HGV licences are advantages Welding / fabricating desirable but not essential. This role offers a competitive salary on days with additional earning potential through overtime and salary reviews.
