Want the benefits of working for a Tier One Contractor, but without all the bureaucracy and politics that comes with it?A family-owned Contractor is recruiting a General Foreman to help deliver a high profile, high visibility urban project that will provide resilience to the area for years to come!You will hold overall responsibility for the safe delivery of the project which has an overall value of around £40M. Your key responsibilities will lie with the coordination of all aspects of the Contract, Preconstruction, Design and Build functions and in ensuring the financial performance meets company expectations.Scope will include various types of piling, general civils works, FRC works with architectural finishes and urban realm improvements.You will:Working closely with the onsite team including subcontractors, engineers, management, and more coordinating and managing all activities onsitePlanning and overseeing the site setup, ensuring that the appropriate facilities are in place prior to the project launchTaking ownership for ensuring that HSEQS protocols are adhered to on sites at all timesMaintaining quality control procedures at all timeTo be successful in this position it is expected that:You have demonstrable experience in contributing to the delivery of civil engineering projects with a value of 20M+Have strong commercial and contractual acumen, primarily with the NEC suiteYou will hold a SMSTS, CSCS Card and other vocational qualificationsOn offer is a salary of around £60,000 - £65,000 per annum along with a company car or car allowance, and additional benefitsIf you are interested in hearing more about this position, then please feel free to contact us on 0203 998 7667 and ask for Rob or Lina.
