They are offering a competitive salary of up to c£40k per annum D.O.E, alongside a generous benefits package, for their position as a Fabrication Estimator.The role involves producing priced and competitive tenders for clients across various industries. The successful candidate will maintain relationships with stakeholders, inspect tender documents, and visit sites to make notes and take photographs as needed, along with other responsibilities detailed below. Their ideal candidate will have considerable time served estimating experience or possess a relevant engineering qualification. Roles and Responsibilities Produce priced and competitive tenders within strict deadlines Maintain strong relationships with prospective clients and professionals Inspect tender documentation including analysing exact requirements Provide detailed Take-Offs and Bill of Quantities Visit sites to make necessary notes and take photographs Collate tender information and builds ups to complete reports for handover meetings Provide support to other Estimators Comply with Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality policies and procedures Provide monthly support on tenders Report and record any accidents and incidents Be aware of financial projects of all projects Skills and Experience Level 3 Engineering-based qualification in Manufacturing Engineering or similar Considerable Estimating experience in steel fabrication sector highly desirable Confident producing detailed tenders and reports using IT packages Commercial and contractual awareness Good negotiation, influencing, and communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Project or an equivalent software About Express Recruitment Express Recruitment has been offering exceptional recruitment solutions across the East Midlands since 1987, “exceeding expectations every time” of over 267,000 candidates.
