We are looking for an experienced HGV/PSV/PCV Technician to carry out maintenance on a modern fleet of vehicles in Nottingham on a permanent basis.Visa Sponsorship is available for this roleThis role has a basic rate of £20.71 ph with enhancements for weekend (£24.62 ph) etc the role is working on a shift roster covering Earlies and lates working 5 out of 7Ex forces, Heavy/ commercial automotive, plant and other transferable industries will be consideredYour TasksTo maintain, inspect, diagnose, repair and test mechanical and electrical systems and equipment and to carry out repairs as necessary on a modern fleet of buses and company vehicles, to ensure they are maintained to a high standard.Communicate effectively with colleagues, manufacturers and suppliersOperate as an efficient team member taking responsibility and ownership when requiredContinually develop knowledge and skills and mentor less experienced colleaguesHave a strong work ethic and understand the need to be reliable and flexibleYour ProfileEssential: A car and PCV driving licence, however those with no PCV licence will be considered if willing to trainExperience of Cummins or Scania drivetrain and electrical systemsExperience of modern CAN bus electrical systems and OEM diagnostic systems3 years experience ideally in a main PSV or HGV workshopHolder of a recognised apprenticeship qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ 3) in heavy vehicle repair or similar oversea qualificationFluency in EnglishThe role comes with a generous benefits package including 33 Days holiday, free travel on company network generous pension contribution, Membership of health care plans (subject to probation pass)If you are interested in this exciting opportunity, Please Apply Now
