Job Title: Site Manager – High-End Residential DevelopmentsLocation: Manchester, UK Salary: £55,000 to £60,000 plus package Job Type: Full-time, PermanentOur client is a leading construction company specialising in high-end residential developments across Manchester. With a commitment to quality, innovation, and attention to detail, they deliver exceptional living spaces for our clients. They are seeking a motivated, experienced Site Manager to oversee the smooth and successful delivery of their high-end residential projects.Role Overview:As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations on site for multiple high-end residential developments. You will lead a team of subcontractors and direct labor, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget. The role requires a strong understanding of residential construction, leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding, luxury properties.Key Responsibilities:Site Management: Oversee the day-to-day running of construction sites, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.Team Leadership: Manage, direct, and motivate site staff and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with site-specific requirements and safety regulations.Quality Control: Ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with building regulations and quality control standards.Health & Safety: Ensure the site adheres to all health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections and reporting any risks or concerns.Client Liaison: Maintain clear communication with clients, design teams, and project stakeholders to keep them informed of project progress and resolve any issues that arise.Budget & Programme Management: Track progress against budgets and project timelines, making adjustments as necessary to meet targets.Documentation: Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, site reports, and progress photos.Problem Solving: Identify potential risks or delays, and implement proactive solutions to ensure projects run smoothly.Essential Skills & Qualifications:Proven experience as a Site Manager, with at least 3-5 years of experience in managing high-end residential developments.Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, building regulations, and health and safety requirements.Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.First Aid certification (preferred).CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card.A strong focus on quality, detail, and customer satisfaction.Experience in using project management software is a plus.Desirable:A background in working on luxury or high-spec residential projects.A relevant construction qualification (e.g., HNC, HND, or Degree in Construction Management).
