With a strong commitment to safety, innovation, and process optimisation, they offer a challenging and rewarding work environment.About the RoleAs Mechanical Manager, you will take full responsibility for the Mechanical & Civil Engineering departments, leading a team of 23 staff and managing contractors when required. Your role will involve:Overseeing mechanical and civil maintenance operations.Managing mechanical project engineering within an industrial manufacturing setting.Ensuring compliance with Safety, Health & Environmental regulations.Utilizing Computerised Maintenance Management Systems effectively.Liaising with suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies such as the HSE and insurance inspectors.Required Skills:Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a mechanical engineering role within an industrial manufacturing environment, including 5+ years in a supervisory position.A HNC in Mechanical Engineering (degree preferred).Strong leadership and personnel management skills.Excellent IT proficiency and ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
