We look after you and the ones you care about most.Pension & Financial Security: We provide a solid company pension, life assurance at 3x your salary, and Group Income Protection (GIP) for long-term peace of mind.Seasonal Rewards & Recognition: Celebrate the festive season with high street Christmas vouchers because we appreciate all you do.What You'll Be Doing:To assist managers in maintaining workshop loading and in prioritising repairs in line with the customers’ and/or our demands.To assist managers in minimising trailer downtime by identifying the most economical repair methodTo ensure all inspections, services and repairs are carried out in the workshop, on the roadside or at the customer’s own premises to a high standard within company guidelines and to conform with all current mandatory & EHS (environmental health 'safety) legislationTo manage all workshop systems and processes as requiredTo encourage good workshop practices to ensure a safe, tidy, hazard-free working environment and ensure complianceTo assist managers in maintaining staffing levels by control of holiday requests and workshop loadingTo assist managers in controlling overtime, working in line with maintenance requirementsTo ensure optimal stock levels are maintained and controlled, ensuring timely availability of parts/productsTo process paperwork in an accurate and timely mannerIdentify opportunities to use the manufacturer’s warranty and goodwill schemesAssisting managers to analyse branch maintenance trends and highlighting theseTo ensure that all agreed goals & objectives are met or exceededTo ensure all company vehicles are driven and operated at all times in accordance with road traffic law and company policy and to ensure that employees adhere to the Company Mobile Van PolicyTo provide a high customer service level & demonstrate company values at all timesTo highlight potential business commercial opportunities to managersTo assist managers in ensuring all staff members use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all timesTo adhere to Company health 'safety policies and procedures at all times and to notify the Branch Manager regarding any concernsTo undertake all required training as deemed necessary by the company.Who We’re Looking For:Must be a “Time Served” technician or possess City & Guilds 1,2 & 3 Certificates or equivalent qualifications & experience and have a technical background/experience in trailer repairsHave a customer and team centric mindset and high level of professionalismExperience of supervising a team is an advantageSelf-motivated with high levels of enthusiasm and good communication skillsGood organisation skills and attention to detail with ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlinesAble to work autonomouslyConfidence to pushback and challengeComputer literateProven admin skills an advantageTake the next step in your career and become part of our exceptional team, where your hard work is rewarded, and your well-being is prioritized.
