As a Design Manager, your role will focus on overseeing design projects, providing technical support and managing a team of design and configuration engineers.Design Manager Responsibilities;- Managing a team of designers, analysts and configuration engineers.- Manage both design and configuration related projects- Improving the on-time delivery of projects- Ensuring that designs and supporting documentation is completed correctly- Providing technical support to customers and the wider engineering teams- Assisting with continuous improvement activitiesDesign Manager Requirements;- Degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, mathematics or physics.- Previous experience in a technical management position- Experienced in simulations and technical designs- Experienced in engineering drawings and configuration management- Excellent communication skills are essential- Must be a team playerThis Design Manager opportunity is based in Kidderminster and commutable from Worcester, Stourport-on-Severn, Redditch, Droitwich, Bromsgrove, Bewdley, Stourbridge and Malvern.
