We are looking for experienced Auto Electricians to work with one of our prestigious vehicle manufacturers based in Crewe.Department: Vehicle Manufacturing-EngineeringContract: 12 months rolling contractShift Pattern: Monday – Thursday 7am – 15:30pm- Friday 7am – 12amPay Rate: £22.00phFor you to be successful in this position you will be responsible for the below, but not limited to:Responsibilities:Responsible for reviewing the software within the vehiclesClean up vehicle, after rectificationFollowing work instructions according to the vehicle standards as providedSupporting a wide range of electrical/instrumentation with various unit under tests (UUT’s) utilising an array of electrical equipment, wiring and sensors.Diagnose electrical problems including fault-finding, rewiring and monitoring across the test field.Conducting ECU software flashing and re-flashingResponsible for service, calibration, inspection and inventory managementResponsible for reporting all defects and repairs or rework conductedRequirements:Qualified in Level 3 in Electrical or Motor Vehicle EngineeringPHEV qualified (IMI level 2 minimum)Experience within the Automotive Vehicle Manufacturing IndustryProven previous experience as a Auto electricianPrevious proven working experience with EV and PHEV VehiclesProven experience with a wide range of small-scale cable and connector typesBe able to resolve faults based on electrical drawings and schematics.Working in a busy fast paced environmentExcellent attention to detailExperienced in using reporting systemsGood communication skills, teamworking abilities and initiativeAdhering to all Company standard operating proceduresAdhering to al health and safety proceduresWorking according to the company quality and housekeeping standardsMust have Hi-Vis and safety footwearClean UK/ or equivalent Driving LicenceRTW in the UK without restrictions (PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT OFFER SPONSORSHIP)
