The company DataX Connect have partnered with a global leading general contractor in their search for an Energy Marshall / Electrical Authorised Person to work on a Hyperscale Data Centre project in the West London area on a permanent full time basis. Why apply?Develop your career with a market leading contractor with a great project pipelineBe challenged working on highly complex technical construction projects Be part of the UK’s Data Centre Construction boomThe roleTo align energy compliance activities so they are completed in a safe manner ensuring the Health and Safety of all stakeholders is kept to the forefront of any decisions made or works executedTo lead by example and ensure all stakeholders are made aware of MEP energy specific Health &Safety policies and procedures and ensure that Health & Safety forms a key part of any discussionsTo be fully aware of and ensure that all stakeholders are aware of the existence of any hazardous energies and any site-specific management strategies (Lock Out Tag Out) around these sources of energyTo provide technical and practical advice and assistance and offer training on energy compliance where necessaryTo collaborate with the project Health and Safety Team around best in class Energy Compliance.Could this role be for you?Proven experience working as an Electrical AP or Energy Marshall level for a main contractor, ideally in mission-critical environments such as data centres.In-depth knowledge of electrical installations, LV and electrical safety.A strong understanding of data centre infrastructure and construction standards.Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders.
