Order Ref: 39952Position Title: Customer Quality Engineer Duration: Contract Location: Halewood (with occasional travel to the West Midlands)Division: Vehicle Engineering Position Description:UID - EV-610; EV-609; EV-608 Vehicle NVH is a key technical department within the product creation process, leading the engineering from concept to customer.You will give the vehicles their unique characteristics, ensuring the many aspects of refinement required to achieve the customer expectations for all the Clients' programmes.It is all part of creating vehicles that delight customers and set us apart from the competition.The NVH Attributes Refinement Group encompasses 3 distinct teams; Prevention, Delivery and In-service Performance.Its responsible for strategy, methods, targets, testing, detection and resolution, specifically for the attributes of Squeak & Rattle and Water and Air Ingress across the full vehicle, systems and components.Operating from the very early phase of a vehicle programme, working cross functionally throughout design, development, manufacturing, launch until end of product life cycle.Your primary role will involve addressing and resolving attribute concerns related to S&R, body sealing and water leaks.You will lead the issue investigation process and establish root causes through close collaboration with Manufacturing, Engineering, and suppliers.A hands-on approach is essential during investigations, following 8D methodology, including the ability to interrogate drawings, models, and take measurements from production.
