A market leading M&E building services contractor are currently recruiting a Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor, in conjunction with several major commercial office projects due to commence in the coming months. The business provide complete M&E design, project delivery and aftercare services to the commercial office, industrial, hotel & leisure and healthcare sectors while working in partnership with several leading blue chip main contractors & end users. Duties & ResponsibilitiesEnsuring the successful financial delivery of flagship M&E projects, through controlling costs, progressing monthly valuations and managing variations/ project changes.Liaise with all project team members including client, design consultant and subcontractors. Review site measurements, programme, and work in progress reviews. Prepare monthly valuations in an accurate and timely manner. Ensure payments are received, as per agreed contract conditions. SkillsStrong technical knowledge of MEP building services systems.Quantity surveying & commercial management. Value engineering & procurement.Strong leadership & man management.Stakeholder management & relationship building. Time management & organisation.Qualifications/ EducationRelevant building services or quantity surveying qualification. Experience managing M&E building services projects valued upwards of £5 million.
