MaybourneAssistant Revenue Manager We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Revenue Manager to join the Maybourne Corporate Office Revenue Management team.As an Assistant Revenue Manager you will assist the Revenue Team in driving revenue growth and maximising profitability for Maybourne through Revenue Management best practices.This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of hotel revenue management principles. It involves working closely with multiple teams (Sales, Marketing, Reservations and Front Office) to ensure that revenue strategies align with overall business goals.Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesMain responsibilities of the Assistant Revenue Manager role include but are not limited to:Assist the Revenue Management Team with the development and implementation of strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.Comprehensive understanding of ALL related IT systems (Opera Cloud and Oracle R&A, IDeaS G3, RezView Next Generation (RVNG), Cendyn Custom IBE, Cendyn Analytics, Lighthouse, Salesforce, TravelClick, Co-Star, Windows Applications, website, OTA extranets and MHG Intranet).Evolve, manage and monitor robust processes to ensure accurate and timely delivery of daily and weekly revenue reports.Process and audit Revenue Management monthly reporting, to foster a culture of data accuracy and integrity.Assist in the preparation of competitive analysis and other supporting documents for presentation at strategy meetings.Support the Revenue Team in forecasting and budgeting processes.Ability to understand and analyse market share premium, supporting the Revenue Team in ensuring targeted RGI and positioning is achieved and maintained.Collaborate with the Revenue Team in developing and maintaining best practices, including competitor analysis, market intelligence, distribution management and pricing.Monitor and analyse market trends, including competitor pricing and strategies and demand patterns to identify opportunities, and assist in communicating them to relevant departments.Collaborate with the Revenue and Marketing Teams to create demand based and seasonal promotions/packages.Monitor and control group block business, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely block release.Oversee contracted allocations and ensure unsold inventory is returned at the earliest contracted time.Collaborate with the Revenue and Distribution Teams to oversee and optimise the hotel’s OTA portfolio, providing monthly insights and opportunities.To participate, assist and develop revenue management departmental projects and implement, manage and operate such projects within Maybourne.Involvement in ‘Overview of Revenue Management’ training.To comply with any other reasonable requests made by Maybourne Hotel Group Management.This is an exciting role for a talented, organised individual who is looking for a new challenge and wants to join a fast paced and high performing team renowned for their approach and delivery of unparalleled service. You will demonstrate a positive can-do attitude and a genuine knowledge and interest in the luxury hospitality industry.Successful candidates for our Assistant Revenue Manager opportunity will:Proven experience in rate distribution, revenue management or a related field within the hospitality industry is essential.Experience within the luxury hotel industry would be advantageous.Proficient in managing various distribution channels, including online travel agencies (OTAs), global distribution systems (GDS), and the hotel's own booking engine.A good understanding of the luxury hospitality market, including knowledge of competitors, customer behaviour, and industry trends.Demonstrated ability to create and analyse reports, manage data, and present findings is essential.Effective communication skills are vital for coordinating with different departments such as Sales, Marketing and Operations.A proactive approach to identifying and solving distribution-related issues like rate parity discrepancies.Familiarity with Opera Cloud, Oracle R&A, Salesforce, OTA platforms, Cendyn and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required.Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple initiatives.Have strong organisational and time management skills.Ability to work under pressure, with excellent attention to detail.Be a team player who is an avid learner, adaptable and has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.Have a high standard of personal presentation with confident, professional and welcoming personality.Demonstrate genuine dedication to Maybourne and show a commitment to consistent quality in our products and services.What will you write in your Maybourne story?Maybourne owns and manages Claridge's, The Connaught, The Berkeley, The Maybourne Beverly Hills, The Maybourne Riviera, The Emory and Surrenne.At Maybourne It is our purpose to create stories of distinction, and we know that truly memorable experiences are made up of countless small moments.
