To work with the Headteacher, leadership team and other stakeholders to secure high standards throughout the schoolKey Task Areas and ResponsibilitiesTo comply with good safeguarding procedures and principles as detailed by the local safeguarding board.To participate in the process of assessment of referralsTo act as overall curriculum coordinator and manager across the schoolTo act as the lead teacher for the positive support of behaviour that may challengeTo work as a key member of the multi disciplinary team which encompasses education, residential care and the clinical teamTo monitor progress and targets to ensure that each individual student is able to achieve planned outcomesTo work with the clinical team and monitor each individual students Behaviour Support Plan, offering advice, support, consultation and where necessary and ensuring they are kept under review and updated.Qualifications RequiredUK QTS or equivalentAbout The SchoolBaston House is an independent day specialist provider of education and care for young people and adults aged 5 to 19 years who have been diagnosed with Autism (ASC).Baston House School ensures that our school environment supports learning and promotes the well-being of pupils and staff through a strong sense of community cohesion.
