We launched an exciting new brand in Manchester last year and were now preparing to launch our second building, complete with a private bar exclusively for Union residents and their guests.As a member of our bar team, youll play a key role in the successful launch of this exciting project. Youll have the opportunity to embrace your creativity, bring fresh ideas to the table, and make your mark on an exciting new venture thats set to redefine the standard of residential living in the city.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the drinks menu and offerings to answer guest enquiries, provide recommendations, and enhance their experience.Mix ingredients to make cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks.Take orders, serve drinks, and recommend drinks based on customer preferences.Deliver exceptional customer service, serving drinks to guests in a timely manner and proactively attending to their needs.Ensure all guests have a unique and memorable experience by delivering top-tier customer service throughout their visit.Accurately process all guest orders through the till systems, issue bills, and handle payment transactions with attention to detail.Keep the bar clean, stocked, and organised. Assist with regular health and safety checks.Complete set-up, handover, and close-down duties to a high standard.Who We Want to Join Our TeamProfessional ExperienceAn experienced Bar Assistant, well-versed in delivering premium experiences to residents & guests.Experienced cocktail mixologist.Event management experience would be a significant advantage; however, full training is provided.Technologically astute with various technology systems and software.Personal CharacteristicsAbility to deliver a diverse and equal approach to colleagues and residents alike.Excellent communication skills; English will be the primary spoken language; however, multi-lingual skills are welcomed.Strong organisational and leadership qualities with an ability to remain calm under pressure.Adaptability, creativity & positivity.Resilience, with an ability to effectively navigate unexpected situations.Ability to carry out tasks that may involve extended periods of standing and repetitive movements.Must be willing to handle and work with alcohol products.Flexibility to work during bank holidays and festive periods as required.Why Work for UsOur employees take pride in working at our luxury properties, which offer the highest standard of resident accommodation across the UK.
