NQNs will of course be welcome to apply.If you would like further information or to come and have a look around the department please contact Teresa Shepherd (Senior SR).Main duties of the jobWe are looking for a Band 5 registrant to join a team of hard-working nurses who can deliver care of a high standard across all streams within a UTC. The Restricted hour Emergency department sees 30,000 new patients each year. We expect our new UTC will see much more in excess of this. We will be seeing a great mix of patients including acute medical patients and minor injuries as well as providing an appointment stream.Duties for this post will include clinical duties such as assessing, planning, delivery and evaluation of nursing care and supporting colleagues in care provision.Working with and leading the multi-disciplinary team, you will need to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to motivate and manage, adapting to rapidly changing situations.We are looking for a RN/RSCN level 1 nurse with post registration experience at Band 5 level. We are also able to consider applications from dual trained staff with an RSCN qualification.
