Our client is a manufacturer of high quality machined parts and components for the most demanding industry sectors such as the Aerospace and the Oil & Gas industries. What We're Looking For: Skilled CNC Turner required with 5 Years Plus experience Aerospace preferred. Able to Program and Set in either Mazatrol or Fanuc. Working from drawings and planning sheets supplied small and medium batch sizes. Ensure machines set in timely fashion and that dimensions and surface finishes are as required. Ability to check own work in conjunction with inspection department. Maintain safe operations by adhering to H&S regulations and procedures ensuring safe environment for yourself and colleagues. Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements and highlighting any issues found. Log on and off jobs to allow production progress and efficiency to be monitored. About you Are you an apprenticeship trained CNC Turner / Miller Ability to read drawings and manufacture to a very high standard Experience of working to fine tolerances and measurements Programming experience is a massive advantage Working hours: Days shifts: 7.30am to 5.30pm Mon to Thursday only Or Night shifts: 7.30pm to 5.30am Mon to Thursday only Shift premium of 1.33 on top of the basic The Person: Skilled CNC Turner experience Ability to understand technical drawings Strong attention to detail and ability to work from engineering drawings Looking for a stable, days-only role with opportunities for progression Able to use overhead cranes (desirable) Complete inspection tasks Benefits: 4 day working week 28 Days Holiday Per Year inc Bank Holidays Overtime 1.5 Basic Optional overtime for extra earnings Competitive salary with opportunities for career growth Comprehensive training and development programs A supportive, team-oriented work environment This is an ideal opportunity for a Sheet Metal worker seeking a great work-life balance and a rewarding career within a reputable and stable company.
