Job Summary: Reporting to the Senior Director of Reward and Talent Development, the role will play a vital part in develop ing a supportive and attractive benefits program that can help attract and retain talent, foster employee satisfaction, and ensure legal compliance. As part of the separation from Colt Core, t he interim Global Benefits and Pensions Specialist will be required to develop the global benefits and pension programs. This role will work closely with HR teams, finance, and external vendors to ensure the programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with the organization's goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of global benefits practices, pension regulations, and a strong analytical background and is experienced in the design and implementation of benefit strategies/programs supporting companies through mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. Key Deliverables : 1. Benefits Program Development : - Working closely with the Senior Director of Reward, d esign and implement a comprehensive benefits strategy that aligns with the company's mission, culture, and employee needs. - Research and evaluate various benefits options (healthcare, retirement plans, wellness programs, etc.) to create a competitive benefits package. 2. Vendor Selection and Management : - Identify and negotiate contracts with benefits providers, such as health insurance companies, retirement plan administrators, and wellness program vendors. - Establish relationships with vendors to ensure quality service delivery and compliance with plan requirements 3. Compliance and Regulatory Requirements : - Ensure that all benefit and pension plans comply with country , region , and local regulations (e.g., ACA, ERISA, COBRA). 4. Employee Communication and Education : - Working closely with the Internal Communications Team, d evelop a communication plan and materials to inform employees about available benefits, eligibility, enrollment processes, and any associated costs. - Conduct onboarding sessions and benefits workshops to help employees understand their options and how to utilize them effectively. 5. Enrolment and Administration : - Manage the enrol ment process for employee benefits, ensuring that all employees understand how to enroll and make changes to their benefits. - Working with the Head of HR Operations, define the benefits and pensions administration processes , including managing payroll deductions and tracking participation and support in the implementation of these processes - W orking with the Colt Core IT HRIS team , ensure the benefit and pension schemes are configured correctly in the HR system - Working with the Colt DCS Separation team, act as the SME for the design of the new HR system and payroll integration to support the new benefits and pension plans 6. Data Management and Reporting: - Maintain accurate records of employee benefits enrollments, changes, and utilization . - Analyze data related to benefits usage and costs to provide insights for future decision-making and program adjustments. 7. Employee Support and Consultation : - Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding benefits-related inquiries, issues, and concerns. - Provide guidance on how to access benefits, file claims, and resolve discrepancies. - Working with the Director of Reward and Talent Development and Regional HR Manager , support with Work Council consultations 8. Wellness and Employee Engagement Programs: - Design and promote wellness initiatives and employee engagement programs that support employee health and job satisfaction. - Monitor the effectiveness of these programs and gather feedback for continuous improvement. 9. Budgeting and Cost Management: - Support in the d evelop ment and manage ment of the budget for employee benefits programs, assessing the financial impact of various options . - Explore cost-effective solutions while ensuring that the benefits package remains competitive and attractive. Qualifications : - Bachelors degree in Human Resources , Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; Masters degree or professional certification (e.g., Certified Employee Benefit Specialist) is a plus. - Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in benefits and pensions management, preferably in a global context. - Strong knowledge of international benefits and pension regulations, practices, and trends. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail. - Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. - Proficiency in HRIS and benefits administration software.
